Located in the industrial city of Aleppo, Syria, at the hub of industry and agriculture in the north, and in close proximity to the ports of Lattakia and Tartous, Hassan & Khalil company has the strategic advantage of fast and easy access to Syria and export markets.

Being established by highly qualified lubrication engineers the company can boast as being the pioneers of the oil and grease industry in Syria and one of the foremost in the region. The roots of the business go back to the early 1960's. In 1978 the Hassan family established the first grease manufacturing plant in Syria. Between 1982 and 1992 they established a lubricating blending plant in Toronto, Canada. In 1996 they build a new blending plant in Aleppo. Since 1996, both the oil blending plant and the grease plant were operated together under the name of Hassan and Khalil Company.

The Company has been producing under license both Castro; greases since 1980 and Veedol oils since 1996. For additives and specialty lubricants the company receives constant technical support from Astra Premium Petroleum Additives Inc., and Thunder Oil Services Inc., both of Toronto, Canada
