ASSIA was established in 1950, as a small tailor shop, known as a (Haute Couture) dress-maker and tailor, then, ASSIA developed into a small workshop, of only six sewing machines, for one tailor, and a few laborers.
Later on, ASSIA developed into a big company for producing ready-made suits for men, called ASSIA Company.
ASSIA was the first firm in Syria for producing ready-made suits.
And in 1961, ASSIA started to produce for men ready-made clothes, with the abilities of a really modern factory.
